This was another day of hard driving, and the scenery was much like the previous day. We left Sault Ste. Marie and headed west and north. There were a few more small ponds and lakes dotting the landscape along the road, but little else. We paused occasionally to enjoy the view of Lake Huron, but mainly we focused on making miles towards the next town of any size, Thunder Bay. This is probably the most we’ve driven in any one day so far; almost 10 hours on the road. This part of Ontario is quite scenic and I’d like to come back for a longer visit.
