Well, at long last, I signed the (first of many) big check for the remodel on the downstairs bathroom. Here it is “before”. The angle is awkward, I know.
The little triangular shower is coming out. We’re putting in a large shower, roughly 4′ x 8′, with two shower heads. The gray vinyl flooring will be replaced with a black tile I’m quite fond of. Tile walls, new paint, yadda, yadda.
Today, the basic demolition happened. Sheet rock removed, modular shower removed.
Tomorrow the new shower pan will begin construction. I’m told the entire job will be something less than a month. And less than *mumble, mumble* dollars. Here’s hoping. 🙂
I love double shower heads; and am, unfortunately, familiar with *mumblemumble* dollars. In my case, it’s the kitchen. Best of luck to y’all.
My baby bro did a doadking tub wi thet and everything…I didn’t ask the cost, because he’s living on a settlement stream…thus the house and the duplex. It’ll stop eventually, but he’ll be readu to retire,

It’s just two totally separate shower heads. Nothing fancy, just a second set of controls and shower nozzle. I figure one will be a traditional nozzle and the other will be a hand-held hose/wand thing.
I’m looking forward to it to! I’m very bad at visualizing how such things will turn out.
