We scurried out from that evil hotel and drove through downtown Annapolis but decided to keep going in hopes of finding a restaurant we had enjoyed several years back. And we found it, the Fisherman’s Crab Shack in Kent Narrows. We sat right out on the water and ate crabmeat and watched the boats and the ducks. Then we drove through the Delmarva peninsula, which is a little bit less “civilized” and made for a pleasant contrast to the last over-a-week of city life. After Ocean City we started looking for a campground but the two Delaware state parks on the ocean were full, so we ended up at a hotel in Lewes, DE, near Rehobeth Beach. Tomorrow we’re taking the ferry into New Jersey.
