It is a busy weekend, for a confirmed Meyers-Briggs “I” such as myself.
I had dinner and a massage with a pal Friday night. On Saturday, the chickie-babe and I went down to Market Street to watch The Love Parade. While waiting for things to get rolling, we walked down to the Metreon to visit the Playstation store to find out when We ♥ Katamari was expected to arrive. We were delighted to find it had already been released, and bought a copy on the spot! As we walked back to the parade, we joked about going straight home to start tapping the Playstation vein. 😉 We didn’t, but we joked about it. I didn’t get a ton of good pictures, but it was fun regardless.
What we did do, however, was go back to the Playstation store after a couple of hours of the parade and bought a second copy, as a housewarming gift for a friend.
Saturday night I went to my friend’s housewarming party, and she was delighted with the gift. Mmm, PlayStation crack. Her new place was wonderful, and although I skipped the offered hottub that night, I’m sure we’ll get together for that sometime soon.
And then today I’m meeting with a bunch of folks to go wandering through the Folsom Street Fair. More about that later.
Big fun, but I’m going to be exhausted on Monday. 🙂
I’ll need to post in my LJ BEFORE the parade next year. Turns out there were a few other LJers at the Love Parade yesterday. We could have met. 🙂
