First snow of the season (albeit, a light dusting that was gone by noon). To celebrate, I made a gumbo.
Turned out really nice. The shrimp were at the sweet spot where they were well cooked, but still very tender and not at all rubbery. Needed a bit more spice. And next time, definitely adding okra. It’s just not gumbo (to me) without okra!
