We moved further along the coast and finally found an open campground and settled in for the evening. The French name &#8220;Presqu&#8217;ile&#8221;, &#8220;almost an island&#8221;, describes the place well. This was my first view of the Great Lakes and they&#8217;re quite beautiful, so I enjoyed a long walk along the peninsula viewing the water with lots of bicyclists, roller-bladers, and other pedestrians.
